There’s a way for everyone to help
Whether you have time to care for a puppy, drive one of our dogs to training, lend a hand at an event or share our story in your community, your contribution makes a world of difference.
Volunteering with us is a chance to learn new skills, meet new people and be part of a friendly, dog-loving community that helps create life-changing connections every single day.
When we hear first-hand about how a puppy we have raised transformed someone’s life, it fills us with great happiness. We give ourselves a little pat on the back and say to each other 'we helped to make that difference'. Not only that, but we had huge fun along the way!
What volunteering looks like
Volunteering with us is flexible, supported every step of the way by our expert team and welcoming community, and makes a real difference to people and dogs.
Volunteer with our dogs
Support our tiny pups as they take their first steps towards becoming life-changing dogs, care for our dogs in training during evenings and weekends, or provide a permanent, loving home for one of our puppy mums.
Volunteer with your dog
Do you have a friendly dog and a kind, patient approach? You and your dog could become a Volunteer Dog Team, supporting people in your local community through activities like wellbeing walks, care home visits and befriending sessions.

How we support you
From the moment you join us, you’ll have access to expert guidance, ongoing training and a dedicated team who’ll be there to help every step of the way.
We’ll make sure you feel confident, informed and supported - with practical help such as equipment, advice and the reassurance that all essential costs (like vet care or travel) are covered for dog-based roles.
We believe volunteering should be rewarding and enjoyable, so we’ll always do our best to match you with opportunities that suit your interests, location and lifestyle.
