By volunteering with your dog as a Volunteer Dog Team, you’ll offer uplifting animal assisted support programmes – from gentle wellbeing walks and care home visits to one to one befriending sessions or fun group activities.
No special qualifications are needed. Just a friendly, socially motivated dog, a kind and patient approach, and a heart for making someone's day. We’ll provide all the training you need, along with guidance to help you prepare your dog for their role. Every team completes a friendly, supportive assessment to make sure this rewarding work is a great fit for you and your dog.
We have Volunteer Dog Teams working in selected areas across the UK, including Banbury, Bristol, and parts of Scotland.
